Sketches of relocating home structure

To begin my thinking into how i could create a 3 dimensional structure that optimizes what home is like for me through the relocation process i started with simple sketches. These sketches are of things that i have found to be very dominant and reoccurring throughout the images, places, and even the day to day rituals that occur in my places of home. These things can be recognized as vehicle tyre tracks, wooden pillars, leaf structures, buildings and raised fences. I have abstracted these ideas through the use of simple pencil on paper sketches to begin to imagine these details as something more intractable, something you could inhabit.

Developing on from those initial sketches i started to look at how i could take these sketches detail ideas and generate a structure or build environment that could sustain weight and be used as a space to exhibit the meaning of home to me. Using materials that i can find lying around the place that can be used to construct these simple structures.

Playing around with the idea of creating a 3-D spatial structure that created a connection between the internal space and the external space. An internal space that can be used to exhibit the works and photos of one space (e.g. the city) so this space can be experienced when it is places in a different location (e.g. the countryside). sort of like a “box of the city” placed within the country, and similarly how a “box of the country” can be places in the city to create a gallery exhibition that can run at the same time in completely different locations.
