Moving Forward… What to do next?
For the next stage of my process and moving forward into thesis in the next semester i would like to look into different types of temporal materials, materials such as ice, mud, paper, and living things, and how this weather over time/how they can be looked after to both preserve them or weather them depending where my research leads. Whether i choose to focus on the aspect of home that stays with you and gets added to and grows as time goes on or whether i choose to focus on the aspects of home that fall apart and wash away, the physical building and being that falls away as we grow.
I would also like to experiment with how 3-D manufactured and assembled materials and objects can combine with natural “out of control” materials to change the outcome of what it would be like for structure and uncertainty to come together. Experiment with different aspects of like and see how, even though the walls of your family home fall apart, the direction your future is tracking and the challenges you are yet to over come are building you up to what you are inevitably going to be.
