Week Six: Mapping Intuitive Stories

Mapping intuitive stories this week was something I found very helpful and even exciting as I helped me realise where my hunch for this project was coming from and how this is driving the ideas that I am interested in pursuing on my research journey. Throughout the beginning of my research I was always trying to draw on ideas and situations of my past and my culture. But, since I have come from a European background I do not have any culture as such to draw upon that I could use to add value and strength to my research. This was when I stumbled into the idea of designing for a nomadic person. As I have no strong cultural past but rather I past that has involved a lot of travelling from place to place and country to country for not only me but my ancestors as well I found this idea of a nomadic person particularly fitting for my research area.

Current research question with a bit of editing
A series/story of what my nomadic childhood was like. What is underpinning my interest in designing for a nomadic person.
Research question and planning for intuitive mapping
Intuitive mapping layout. Simple, yet starts to show how the ideas and research link together.
