When presenting the 51 models that i had created which related to the “raiding the pantry” exercise i was really interested in emphasizing the importance and thinking that had gone into each element that i had used in my design and how the book is the center of the making and the being of my design (metaphorically speaking) and how i wanted to highlight this by having this at the center of my utensils and methods of making.
you can see this precision and thinking that has gone into the work that i have produced this far due to the organised and “perfect” structure of the layout of my presentation. All the different elements are lined up in a certian order, whether it is size, colour, or order of use. they have been laid out in this way to show how much they had been thought about throughout the whole process and how they have as much significance to my design as the physical model itself.
When I was setting up for my next presentation on my desk at home I was really drawn to this idea of extending on the use of interactivity and how these things only work with the interaction of a user. This is how I started to set up my presentation. Collecting all of the models I had made and placing them all inside a vessel, these models I could then take out and construct when presenting my work to show/demonstrate how they work. How I want them to work at a larger scale.
Using the A3 scale in a more abstracted way so instead of each element being to a3 scale. I have instead made the whole template that the models fit into A3 sized. So when all of the models were laid out they covered this A3 area.
